Pastor Rick, originally from Northern Virginia just outside the nation's capital, is the blessed husband of wife Gladys, and father of four children. His two oldest remain on the East Coast; Alexandra is finishing up Nursing School at Liberty University and Casey is a chef on the Eastern Shore. Georgia and Charles are now Texans and attend school locally.
Pastor Rick focuses on the ministry of the Word and Prayer (Acts 6:4), but is also focused on outreach, compassion ministries, counseling, and community development. Pastor Rick understands the Bible to teach that the local church is the chief vehicle that God uses to advance His kingdom, which includes not only the pulpit, but also in the community from the street corner to the steps of city hall. In describing Faith Fellowship in a sentence, Pastor Rick joyfully proclaims, "We are a broken people in love with broken people!"
